Using the client's knowledge of their own lives to help guide them in creating new, and beneficial patterns to reach their full potential.
Allegra is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner that has been working in the Omaha area for over 10 years. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and her Master of Science degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Life is about growth and change, which is not always easy or comfortable and Allegra is mindful of this. She enjoys working with clients as they make lifelong changes and discover their own strength and resilience. She has worked with a variety of people of different ages and backgrounds including adults, couples, individuals with Developmental Disabilities and/or Severe and Persistent Mental Illness. She can assist in areas of stress management, relationship conflict, developing positive coping strategies, improving self-confidence, challenging distorting thinking patterns, struggling with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, and grief. She incorporates a variety of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Stage of Change, Motivational Interviewing and Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).
