Her work also includes providing compassionate care to those navigating pregnancy, miscarriage, infant loss, and infertility. She is currently working towards certification in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.

In therapy, Karla offers a multifaceted approach to address a wide range of concerns by utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based strategies. She recently completed training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), a therapeutic approach designed to help individuals heal from traumatic experiences.

Karla hopes to create a warm and collaborative environment, working together with clients to work on identifying underlying patterns, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and develop new perspectives that will empower individuals to thrive.
In her free time, Karla can be found spending time with her spouse and two adult children, biking, enjoying live music, and trying out new coffee shops in the metro area.
